FLUX is the undisputed pioneer in the field of barrel pump technology. Already 50 years ago, when we were still based in Stuttgart, FLUX was the first German company to manufacture barrel pumps according to its own patented designs.

| 1949 | The pump engineering department was established in "Progress Verkaufs GmbH" in Stuttgart. |
| 1950 | The world's first electric barrel pump - with the FLUX brand name. |
| 1953 | FLUX-GERÄTE GMBH founded. The world's first explosion-proof barrel pump. |
| 1960 | The manufacturing and repair department moved from Stuttgart to Maulbronn. |
| 1962 | Herbert Hahn joined the company as managing director. |
| 1963 | New factory building with a floor area of approximately 1700 m² completed in the Industrial Zone in Maulbronn. |
| 1972 | The manufacturing area expanded to about 3200 m². |
| 1985 | Construction of a four-storey office building with a floor area of about 1800 m². |
| 1987 | All office functions, the Technical Department and the Research and Development Department moved into the new office building in Maulbronn. |
| 1991 | The manufacturing area expanded to over 4000 m². |
| 1994 | FLUX becomes the first German company in the region to be certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 by TÜV Southwest. |
| 1998 | The factory building, originally constructed in 1963, is brought up to state of the art standard. |
| 2000 | Herbert Hahn, the managing director, with a career of almost 40 years hands over the reins to his nephew Klaus Hahn. |
| 2008 | FLUX-GERÄTE GMBH is a globally successful company with an unusual depth of manufacturing experience and 150 qualified staff. |
